A lot of these sites are vanilla code. Although there is huge value in using frameworks and third party software, I find that if you learn the base languages well, the rest becomes so much easier. You may use any of this code in your own applications.
The Portfolio section points to applications on several different virtual hosts and node.js servers. The Knowledge section, a 'work in progress', either links to articles in the Article Writer or directly to an example application.
